I operate the twisty re mailer. The results of your testing are very
valuable to me.
Would you please consider posting these results under [INFO Re mailers] on
a regular basis?
The tests allow me to diagnosis any problems that may be happening.

Hi, thanks for the service!
Does your Usenet provider carry alt.privacy.anon-server.stats? That has
been where I've been posting them, because it's the best place in my
opinion. About once every two weeks. You can also dredge them up in
google.
If you don't have access to alt.privacy.anon-server.stats I can post them
here if you'd like, but I'd rather not since it might dilute this wonderful
spew of content we have going here. <s>

The only problem with this is that Tor nodes all block port 25, most also
block port 110. This makes email a tad difficult.
At least you will get an error message :-)
Tor only blocks 25. 110 is allowed on the default exit policy and
accepted by most of the exit nodes.
If you need smtp you will have to find an email provider that opens
another port. I think there was a page on the tor wiki that listed
a couple.
You mean <http://www.noreply.org/tls/>?
I believe this poster was referring to this WiKi page:
<
http://wiki.noreply.org/noreply/TheOnionRouter/AlternativePorts>
This page lists a few NNTP(S) servers and SMTP hosts that offer
non-standard ports. I added Panta's Hidden Service NNTP and
SMTP urls to this page awhile back.

When I get time I'm going to 'play' with JAP, Tor and Privoxy;
but I do
not trust JAP as all it's servers are in Germany and it has a
history of 'backdoors' :-(
Have a great night Thomas
