The RATP website used to contain PDF maps of the areas around Metro
stations. These have now been replaced by snippets of a less detailed map.
Does anyone possess any of the old PDF files which they downloaded at the
time? They might even be in your internet cache.
It seems a PDF map can still be downloaded from that address:http://www.ratp.info/orienter/cv/carteparis.phpthen click on
"Téléchargement PDF". I do not know whether this is exactly what you were
looking for.
Il semble qu'un plan PDF puisse toujours être téléchargé à cette adresse :http://www.ratp.info/orienter/cv/carteparis.phppuis cliquer sur
"Téléchargement PDF". Je ne sais pas si c'est excatement ce que vous
recherchiez.
Actually, I cannot see a "Téléchargement PDF" button to click on.
Just an "Impression" button to print a map. The old system used to
allow the downloading of specific station quartier maps such as
"jasmin.pdf" or "bir_hakeim.pdf". Those downloadable maps were
actual pdf files that were scalable in size and very, very detailed in
terms of street features, gardens and pathways, building shapes and
features, stairways, etc. I actually have a great many of the old pdf
files but I would love to find more of specific areas, especially in
the 16th Arr and around other key venues such as St-Sulpice, Saint
Germain, Monmartre and others. I think everyone who remembers the old
maps agree that they were much superior to the new maps which can be
printed but not downloaded as scalable pdf's. If anyone has any
others could you please contact me william.james@worldnet.att.net
Thanks.
