The only problem with this is that Tor nodes all block port 25, most also
block port 110. This makes email a tad difficult.
At least you will get an error message :-)
Tor only blocks 25. 110 is allowed on the default exit policy and
accepted by most of the exit nodes.
If you need smtp you will have to find an email provider that opens
another port. I think there was a page on the tor wiki that listed
a couple.
You mean <http://www.noreply.org/tls/>?
I believe this poster was referring to this WiKi page:
<
http://wiki.noreply.org/noreply/TheOnionRouter/AlternativePorts>
This page lists a few NNTP(S) servers and SMTP hosts that offer
non-standard ports. I added Panta's Hidden Service NNTP and
SMTP urls to this page awhile back.

When I get time I'm going to 'play' with JAP, Tor and Privoxy;
but I do
not trust JAP as all it's servers are in Germany and it has a
history of 'backdoors' :-(
Have a great night Thomas

Suddenly nothing's getting through.
I use auto remailers with stats from bikikki.
I use 2 m2n gateways (dizum and bananasplit)
My nyms are with blackhole and panta.
What gives? Bad stats?
BiKiKii stats are currently poor.
CPunk - OK not good, Mix - bad.
both gateways down?
Gateways are probably OK.

Nym servers both down?
Blackhol appears to have a problem:
blackhol 124111112111 :54 +++++++++++4 95.1%
pantanym 114121111111 :50 ++++++++++++ 100.0%
I'm missing something. What is it?
Use a different Stats source or lower your minimum uptime%.
Ciao!
