Title           : RF Design Engineer

Description     : My client are looking for a RF
Designer.

The candidate should have at least five years industrial
experience in RF design environments, with at least 2 years
working on GSM/EDGE mobile telephone handsets.

He/she should have a proven track record of circuit design
of GSM RF circuits (synthesizers, receivers and transmitters)
and knowledge of the GSM regulatory requirements (ETSI specs).

The candidate must have good written and verbal communication
skills, a presentable appearance and he/she should work well
with others.

My client are a leading supplier of RF solutions for GPRS,
EDGE and 3G mobile handsets.

The Mobile Communications group within the Engineering
Division designs radio architectures for these solutions
and validates them by the design and test of evaluation
boards for the complete radio.

Working as part of the Mobile Communications Group, the
successful candidate will join the EDGE radio platform
development team.

Based on devices already designed/specified by this group
and now being implemented by our colleagues in Japan, the
candidate's tasks will be to play an active role in debugging
and identifying solutions to radio issues identified during
validation testing.

Some technical support of customers may be required, along
with support for the preparation of samples and evaluation
boards for those customers.
